We just found out that CR Johnson has died in Squaw Valley. Early reports say Johnson tumbled down Light Towers at Squaw Valley. Johnson nearly died in 2005 and made an inspiring comeback from an induced coma. Johnson was forced to learn everything from swallowing to walking again. CR Johnson was just 26 years old. Although we only had the chance to interview him once here on BMP he seemed like a great guy and super nice for taking the time to do the interview. Our deepest regards go out to his family and friends. You are a huge lost to the ski community and will be missed.
