BMP recently read some terrible news this week about an up an coming
Big Mountain skier named Billy Poole. He Died this Tuesday 1-22-07.
He was shooting some footage for Warren Miller's Crew when It was reported that he
sustained some major injuries from a cliff drop. He was flown by Heli
from the Big Cottonwood backcountry to University hospital of Utah
where he was pronouced dead, hospital spokes woman Vickie King said.
Poole skied for the well know Black Diamond Equit. Ltd. Chief executive
Petter Metcalf described him as a rising star among big mountain
skiers.
Poole Reportedly cartwheeled over rocks after jumping off a cliff in an
