In our search for those company's going the extra mile these days Novembers' featured Company is a joint called SESSIONS. Im sure that some of you have heard of them before and for those of you that haven't here is a little BIO on how it all got started....
In 1983 a young skater/snowboarder/surfer from Santa Cruz started a retail shop in San Jose, the epicenter from which a skateboarding revolution was going to shake the world. Joel Gomez, Sessions Founder and CEO, has lived the culture of action sports and punk rock for his entire adult life. His commitment and the company’s commitment to the true roots of the action sports lifestyle are reflected in the history of how the brand has evolved into what it is today.
Sessions was the FIRST snowboard shop in the US,
Sessions was one of the punk rock first mail orders, one of the first
to incorporate Goretex into snowboard outerwear, one of the first to
make soft shell hoody's. The first to incorporate Recco avalanche
reflector technology into our jackets.
The Sessions story is a reflection of the past legends who have shaped it and the young athletes who make Sessions what it is today.
Session didn't stop there though and they have expanded into the ski industry, making their mark in recent years. One of their Riders is a BMP favorite, Shane McConkey. Which leads us to one of the many exciting things that Sessions is doing right now and that is a contest were you can win a trip to Tahoe for a day of skiing with Saucer Boy himself.

But lets NOT stop there because Sessions is doing something that is really cool and We at BMP have not Personally heard of any other Company's doing something like this.
Sessions is currently selling a jacket in which proceeds go to boarding for breast cancer. We also are making a jacket for the SOS program where proceeds get inner city youth on the slopes. Click here to find out more about these project
