A person who some say gave more to the sport than any one person ever and in a big way helped make what big mountain skiing is today. In his prime he stood alone taking lines that no one else even thought were skiable and having a fluid style all his own. I remember growing up watching him on film and thinking how amazing it would be to ski like him. He took the sport to the next level and opened the flood gates for future generations. Although his physical time here on earth has passes he will forever be remembered for what he meant to the sport.
